This Labor Day we marched with Union pride at the 46th Annual Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition Solidarity Parade!Hosted by LIUNA Local 1309 and supported by the Southern California District Council of Laborers, we were proud to be joined by our brothers and sisters from Locals 300, 652, 724, 1414, and the LIUNA Pacific Southwest Region, alongside their families who showed what it means to be apart of the LIUNA Family.

These members support major public and private projects across the region. Their work includes mixing materials for plasterers and fireproofing, setting up the job sites, scaffolding, cleaning, and more. It’s demanding work, but it’s work that lasts.
