The Southern California District Council of Laborers (SCDCL), alongside LIUNA Local 1309, continued our Thanksgiving community service efforts in Gardena, partnering with LAUSD Region South and the Office of Development & Civic Engagement to support families across the region.
Andre Spicer, Superintendent of LAUSD Region South, shared the importance of this work as teams came together to package and distribute more than 600 food bags, along with boxes provided by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
Staff and volunteers from LIUNA Local 1309 stood alongside SCDCL to deliver meaningful support to families who rely on their schools and their communities during the holidays.
