The Southern California District Council of Laborers (SCDCL) continued our Thanksgiving service efforts in Pasadena, joining Victor Gordo, Mayor of Pasadena and Business Manager of LIUNA Local 777, alongside firefighters, community volunteers, and Justin Jones for Operation Gobble Gobble.
Together, our teams delivered over 500 turkeys and complete holiday meals to families and individuals impacted by recent wildfires—providing direct support when it was needed most.
This effort builds on the work SCDCL members have led across Southern California, supporting more than 1,400 families through food distributions, bag-building efforts, and partnerships with the City of Pasadena, LAUSD, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
Members from LIUNA Locals 300, 345, 724, 777, and 1309 stood shoulder to shoulder with SCDCL, demonstrating what union solidarity looks like in action.
