SCDCL was proud to be represented at the 27th LIUNA International Union Convention in Las Vegas, joining Laborers from across the United States and Canada as our Union came together to look toward the future.Our SCDCL Business Manager Jon P. Preciado was honored to serve on the Convention’s Credentials and Audit Committee, representing Southern California alongside Laborer leaders from across the country.Throughout the Convention, SCDCL leadership, members of our organizing department and delegates from our affiliated Locals took part in convention business, connected with fellow Laborers from across our Internation Union and represented the members we serve back home.The Convention also welcomed Xavier Becerra, Democratic nominee for Governor of California, who addressed delegates during the week and spent time with Jon following his remarks.Most importantly, the Convention brought together the larger LIUNA family our Locals and members are a part of. Sharing ideas, strengthening relationships and carrying the voices of our members onto the International stage.Thank you to everyone who represented SCDCL and our affiliated Locals at the 27th International Union Convention.
