This last week the memorandum of understanding to bring the UCR Health Canyon Springs Medical Campus to life was signed. This commitment will bring healthcare to the Inland Empire where the community needs it most.
This project is a partnership between UCR Health, TDA Investment Group, and the Construction Laborers Pension Trust for Southern California, which owns the land. It means good union jobs today and secure pensions tomorrow. An investment in both community health and our member’s wellbeing.
SCDCL Business Manager Jon P. Preciado, who also serves as Chairman of the Pension Trust, stood with our partners, as well as speaking directly to our LIUNA members who live and work here, where they shared what this moment means for their families, their careers, and their future.
These are the members who will help build this, and who will benefit from it, alongside the many families this new campus will serve. LIUNA is building a future that is healthier, stronger, and Union Made.
