Laborers Rising in action at LIUNA Local 777.
SCDCL joined Local 777 with our organizing team for foundation training focused on strengthening solidarity and engaging our members. These conversations are about understanding who we are, how we got here, and where we’re going together.
We were joined by Ernesto J. Ordoñez, LIUNA Pacific Southwest Regional Manager, and Victor M. Gordo, Business Manager and Secretary-Treasurer of LIUNA Local 777 and Mayor of the City of Pasadena, who spoke directly with our public employee members.
LIUNA is more than construction. Our public employees represent more than 10,000 members across Southern California, Central California, and Phoenix, and their work is essential to keeping our Union strong.
Member-to-member engagement matters. When Laborers talk to Laborers, we build trust, grow participation, and strengthen our union from the inside out.
