As part of the Southern California District Council of Laborers, Local 220 brought the holiday spirit to Bakersfield and Santa Maria with general membership meetings rooted in service and community. Members came together for a Toys for Tots drive, a holiday raffle, and a BBQ generously prepared by Local 220 retirees, showcasing the strength of our union across generations.
The presence of the Local 220 Women’s Caucus added to the sense of unity defines our Locals. These gatherings reflect what the season is truly about: showing up for one another, supporting families in our communities, and strengthening the bonds that make our union strong.
