Laborers Support 500 Families Affected by January Fires

Continuing our support of our community, SCDCL and members of Local 724 and Local 1414 joined the LAUSD Office of Development & Civic Engagement (@EngageLAUSD) and @CityYear to support nearly 500 families still feeling the effects of the January fires.

Laborers believe in lifting up the communities we serve. By working together, we show that union values don’t stop where the job site ends, we support and empower our communities when they need us most.

Thanks to the generous contributions of @LausdEDFoundation, @Gap, @Disney, @Baby2Baby, @CCHC_Centers, @comfortbearsinacatastrophe, and @GothamBooksOfficial, we were able to help provide essential items to families in need.When our community asks for help, Laborers Rise!
