Combining Strengths

To strengthen our collective position in the construction marketplace, LIUNA and its signatory contractors formed a partnership dedicated to securing projects and jobs, increasing market share, and advancing market-related interests.  That partnership is known as the Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust Southwest (LECET Southwest).  LECET Southwest represents more than 40,000 LIUNA members and more than 2,000 signatory contractors throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas.  LECET Southwest provides many valuable services, tools, and resources that LIUNA Local Unions, District Councils and Regional Offices and their signatory contractors can use to help increase market share and win projects and jobs.

Project Tracking and Alerts

LECET Southwest offers a customized project notification program to alert Laborers and contractors of upcoming project and job opportunities in the public works and commercial markets, as well as the industrial, energy, and pipeline industries. [more]

LECET Southwest promotes the Laborers, their employers, and the value of union construction to awarding agencies and developers in trade publications, at industry events, and in one‐on‐one meetings.

LECET Southwest conducts research on project information, corporate intelligence and construction markets to identify new trends in the industry and provide contractors with leading edge information for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Contractor Database
